Audrey Green, London Audrey Green is a stylish and modern café with a beautiful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The food and desserts are excellent, with the chocolate cake with coconut being a standout — rich, delicious, and perfectly balanced with the hint of coconut. However, be prepared for crowds if you visit on weekends, as it gets very busy. Arriving early or visiting during quieter hours is recommended to fully enjoy the experience.

Lovely little cafe hidden in the portrait gallery. They have new cakes and sandwiches - I truly cannot recommend the red velvet cake enough! The cafe is either super quiet or super busy so it’s best to go in the mornings or evenings Brilliant coffee made by brilliant baristas, super friendly and fun atmosphere, will be coming back!

This fancy cafe is located inside the National Gallery. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff are very nice. They don’t offer a wide variety of pastries, so I only ordered a matcha latte. The matcha was very rich and delicious. I hope to find more pastry options on my next visit. If you're exploring the gallery, it's worth stopping by for a cup of coffee:)

Nice little cafe in a good location. I ordered the ‘Cream Tea’ but TEA was NOT INCLUDED, it seemed good value at £7.50, but I’m sorry when did ‘Cream Tea’ not include Tea, I just found it a bit odd. You get x2 scones, Jam and Clotted Cream, I had one with sultanas and that was really dry and a plain one which tasted really fresh. The tea was £3.80, served in a pot and was really nice. The chap who served me (with glasses) was really friendly. But my recommendation to the cafe, is do a single scone deal for £8 (maybe £15 for two people) then you can call it a ‘Cream Tea’ otherwise just advertise it as what it is …a scone with jam and cream. You should also offer Strawberry Jam as well, in my opinion Raspberry isn’t right but I understand that’s personal taste. I would go again though and maybe have a piece of cake …until they offer strawberry jam the scones are a no no for me. UPDATE: It appears you can’t leave two google reviews so I will have to update my first. I came here today (18th Feb) and decided to have the soup, I was told it was Butternut Squash (but it could have been Pumpkin as they weren’t sure) Whatever it was it tasted really good. It was served with some lovely fresh bread (maybe ciabatta) and sprinkled with Pumpkin seeds, on a cold day such as today it was perfect. I had a pot of Earl Grey too that was very good. Soup was £6.50 and definitely worth it. Keep your prices reasonable and your food good and people (like myself) will keep coming back. The seating is limited and yes it is damn cold when the doors opens (depending where you sit) but I will still be coming here again. A nice place to go on a day like today

Back in the most charming Café inside the National Potrait Gallery, and we're honestly blown away. You’d expect decent coffee at best, but this place served a capuccino that could rival any specialty café in the city. The menu is creative and seasonal—think lavender shortbread, croissants, and artisan teas. The ambiance? Artfully calm. With bohemian windows, portraits and a quiet buzz from fellow art lovers, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger with a sketchpad or book. A total win for museum-goers and coffee fans alike. I just loved it!

Great coffee shop inside the museum! They have a wide variety of sweets, cakes, and tasty sandwiches. The coffee is absolutely delicious, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming . I also loved all the beautiful art decorating the space. I’ll definitely be coming back for the scones!
